Fitness Center Hours:
Monday ~ Friday 5:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Saturday ~ Sunday 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
The Victoria Recreation Center provides state of the art fitness equipment for its members. The Recreation Center staff will provide free assistance to members learning to use the equipment. The following fitness calsses are currently being offered:

Classes are offered September 1- December 23
Cost per class is $4.00/member, $5.00/resident and $6.00/non-resident. Classes are included with a Goldand Platinum Membership.
Power Pilates Mat: This class provides trengthening and stretching all your muscles, particular attention is paid to the core muscles and works every joint in your body. This class is a great for preconditioning for any sport. This class incorporates resistance work with dumbbells and body bars, the traditional floor exercises, and "Swiss Balance Ball". This class is for men and women of all ages. Instructor: Linda.
Cardio Power: If you want to strengthen your heart, sleep better, fight osteoporosis, regulate your diabetes, lower your cholesterol and simply feel good all over, then this class is for you. Participants will do very low impact aerobics combined with resistance work using dumbbells and dowels, or light weight body bars. Instructor: Linda.
Cardio Crazy: Love getting a hard workout? Then this class is for you! You will be challenged by non-stop intervals of cardio and strength training. Be sure to bring your energy! Instructor: Mandy.
Boot Camp: An easy, yet challenging workout with athletic based cardio/strength training exercises to give you a total body workout. This class will keep you coming back for more! Instructor: Mandy.
Body Sculpt: Do you want strength training at its best? This multi-level class utilizes upper body muscle groups while using free weights and resistance bands. Class ends with abdominal and lower back work. Instructor: Mandy
Enchanced Fitness for Seniors: You can recognize Enhanced Fitness class by the relaxed atmosphere and the laughter in the room. Participants work at their own pace and receive personal attention from a trained instructor. Participants focus on stretching, flexibility, balance, low impact aerobics (seated if needed) for cardiovascular health and strength training exercise. Seniors who have UCare can attend at no charge, but must pre register for the whole session.
Yoga: Experience how yoga's therapeutic body aligning movements and mindful relaxation can benefit you. Awareness of stretching, breathing, meditation and diet will bring a healthy vitality to your joings, muscles and organs as well as peace of mind. This is a fun and rejuvenating class that will change your life. Instructor: Jennifer Bishop
