Dear Victoria Resident:
Welcome to the City of Victoria! We are the "City of Lakes and Parks" and have a population of over 6,000 residents. We are so pleased
to have you join us as part of our growing community.
We have several community parks in Victoria. We are adjacent to the Three Rivers' 3,000 acre Carver Regional Park and just west, on
Hwy. 5, from the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. In downtown Victoria, you get on a regional walking/biking trail, located north of
Steiger Lake Blvd. and take it all the way to downtown Minneapolis. Victoria also has many numerous trails within the City that connect many of our
neighborhoods.
I invite you to join our Recreation Center at a very affordable price. Our
Recreation Center is located in Diethelm Park off of Kochia Avenue.
Just five years old, the facility offers an ice rink, walking track, exercise facility, gymnasium, numerous class opportunities, and full locker
room facilities. Bring the enclosed coupon to the Recreation Center, and your first visit is free!
I whole heartedly encourage your to do business in Victoria. Among a host of services, Victoria is home to two schools, a full
service bank, numerous places of worship, service stations, car dealership, fine dining and fast food options, sports shop, as well as
chiropractic, life style, spa, barbarshop and dental services ---- all available to you. And, our business community continues to grow! Watch
for periodic announcements of new services and businesses joining our Community.
Please get involved. Your City Government often asks for volunteers to serve on committees
or task forces - consider stepping forward; we are always looking for new ideas! You can log on to our web site,
