5-25-10 Construction Notification Sealcoat Projects

The following streets are scheduled in 2010 for Sealcoating and Crack Sealing:  Virginia Shores Circle, Smithtown Terrace, Lilac Lane, Tamarack Trail and 80th Street.  The project will be separated into two phases crack seal and seal coat.  Phase one will involve repairing existing cracks in the road by sealing them to prevent water from entering below the road surface, placement of rock, and sweeping loose rock after ample time is allowed for the material to bind and seal the road.  Phase two involves the application of a tar adhesive on the road surface, placement of rock and sweeping loose rock after ample time is allowed for the material to bind and seal the road.  Should you have any questions or concerns regarding this project, please direct your calls to Bill Schwanke, Building Inspector at 952-443-4221 or Ann mahnke, Public Works Director at 952-443-4258.

Pot Holes

If you start to see pot holes on your street this spring, please let the City know by filling out our Pot Hole Reporting form online. Use this form only for City streets.

MnDOT - on a state highway
Twin Cities metro area residents may call the pothole hotline at 651/234-7500. Reports about potholes may also be sent via e-mail to: info@dot.state.mn.us.

Carver County - on a county road
Carver County residents may call the public works department to report potholes on county roads at 952/466-5200.
