Downtown West Phase 1 Development Update
The Marco McLane Development Team provided a progress update for the Downtown West Phase 1 Development project.

Discussion Overview
The City currently owns a 13.5-acre parcel, known as "Downtown West", that will be transformed into a mixed-use development with commercial, office, and residential elements. In the fall of 2022, the City of Victoria and Marco McLane finalized a Purchase and Sale Agreement for part of the property in order to initiate Phase 1 development.  

Community Impact
Phase 1 includes the construction of a 145-unit market-rate apartment building, as well as public amenities such as a central green park, stormwater features, roadways, and utility infrastructure. 

Final Plat - Huntersbrook Creekside Second Addition 
Tradition Homes applied for a Final Plat for Huntersbrook Creekside Second Addition (48 Tradition and Heritage style lots) to City Council for review.

Discussion Overview
Staff found that the submitted Final Plat for Huntersbrook Creekside Second Addition is generally consistent with the previously approved Preliminary Plat, and that all conditions of the Preliminary Plat have been met or shall be met prior to recording.

Community Impact
City Council approved the Final Plat with several conditions.
