Summer Events 2021

Victoria Parks and Recreation along with partners and sponsors, proudly bring residents and guests of the City of Victoria  free summer events happening right here in Victoria.  The City will continue to monitor and implement recommendations per the CDC and MDH guidelines.

Concerts in the Park

Located at Charlson Thun Community Bandstand from 6:00-8:00 pm.  These events are free to attend.  (*indicates Classic Car Night)Concerts in the Park Logo - final

Classic Car

Family Fun Night Banner 3 July 23 at Victoria Lions Park from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. (Movie in the Park starts at dark). This is a free event. Children will have the opportunity to channel their inner mechanic by building their own cardboard box car. Bring a cardboard box to the event, decorative materials will be provided. Call 952-443-4260 for weather updates.

Movie in the Park - July 23

Movies in the park are at Victoria Lions Park at dark. Bring a blanket, lawn chair and snacks.

Pop-Up Splash Pad - August 5

1:00-2:00 p.m. at the Victoria Recreation Center

There is no better way to celebrate summer than with fun in the sun and splashing around. Top the day off with frozen treats and a bounce house! Things to know: wear swimsuits and bring a towel, Victoria Fire Department will provide the splash pad. Tell your neighbors and bring your friends!

Event is held in the north parking lot of the Victoria Recreation Center. Park in the front lot and walk through the building. Call the Victoria Recreation Center with questions at 952-443-4255. If there is inclement weather, call the weather hotline at 952-443-4260.  This event is free to attend.

Truck Rodeo - July 29

6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Victoria Recreation Center.

Explore the big trucks and heavy equipment that help keep our city safe and beautiful. Explore vehicles from the Carver County Sheriff’s Department, Victoria Fire Department, Victoria’s Public Works Department and more. This event is free to attend.
