Victoria Yard Waste Site

Make yard clean up a little easier by bringing your compostable yard waste to the City of Victoria's compost collection site.


The City of Victoria has opened the compost collection site on weekends throughout the summer and into the fall. The site will be monitored by a security camera and open to Victoria residents for compostable yard waste only. No non-compostable items are allowed at the site.

Compostable Yard Waste
Yard waste, no larger than 4" in diameter and cut into 4' lengths, will be accepted at the collection site. All items must be de-bagged (unless they are compostable) before dropping off at the collection site.

Acceptable yard waste items include:
  • Grass Clippings
  • Leaves
  • Plant Trimmings
  • Branches
  • Organic Garden Debris (Plant Material)
Non-acceptable yard waste items include:
  • Chemically Treated Items
  • Soil, Dirt, Rocks, Gravel
  • Concrete and Cement
  • Plastics, Metals, Glass
  • Garbage

Collection Site Eligibility
  • Only residents of Victoria, Minnesota can drop compostable yard waste off at the collection site.
  • No commercial waste allowed.
