On June 10, 2021 at 1 p.m., the City of Victoria declared an Emergency Outdoor Watering Ban effective immediately. The emergency watering ban will be in effect until further notice. During the Emergency Outdoor Watering Ban, water may not be used from the City's water supply systems for lawn and garden sprinkling, irrigation, or car washing at any time. Any water customer who shall cause or permit water to be used in violation of the ban shall be issued an administrative citation as soon as possible.

The City is in its second year of a pARTnership with local artist and Victoria resident Deb Zeller, who also owns Zeller Studio in Hopkins, to bring rotating art shows to City Hall. The current show features a local artist group called the Brush Pilots.
