Compost Collection Site
Make spring cleaning a little easier by bringing your compostable yard waste to the City of Victoria's spring compost collection site.
The City of Victoria is opening a compost collection site on four weekends in May 2021. The site will be monitored by a security camera and open to Victoria residents for compostable yard waste only. No non-compostable items allowed. The City of Victoria offers this service to its residents as an easy way to dispose of yard waste since it is illegal in Minnesota to put this type of waste in your household garbage.
Compostable Yard Waste
Yard waste, no larger than 4" in diameter and cut into 4' lengths, will be accepted at the collection site. All items must be de-bagged (unless they are compostable) before dropping off at the collection site.
Acceptable yard waste items include:
- Grass Clippings
- Plant Trimmings
Non-acceptable yard waste items include:
- Chemically Treated Items
