Stretch of Highway 11 Closing on July 18 Until Early October

A map of detour route and construction area with descriptions.

Construction is anticipated to begin on Victoria Drive (Highway 11) south of Marsh Lake Road/Pioneer Trail to the Twin Cities Western Railroad crossing on Monday, July 18, 2022. A full closure of the road is necessary to safely facilitate construction of improvements which include expansion of the existing roadway to provide turn lanes for two access points to the new developments, and the construction of storm sewer infrastructure, a center median, and a pedestrian trail.

The City of Victoria expects that the road will remain closed to through traffic until early October 2022. All through traffic should follow the signed detour to Highway 43 beginning July 18.

The intersection of Marsh Lake Road/Pioneer Trail will remain open, and access to the Marsh Hollow development and Harvest Trail will be maintained throughout the project.

The City appreciates your patience during the construction of these improvements. If you have any special access needs or require further assistance, please reach out to one of the project contacts.
