The current art exhibit at city hall includes vivid paintings by Minnesota artist Bernie Anderson. After 1 1/2 years of art school and a long career in banking, Mr. Anderson is painting full-time, splitting his time between Minnesota and Southern California. His favorite media are oil and watercolor. He prefers painting from life: landscapes, still life and figure. His approach is spontaneous and direct. He counts Robert E. Wood, Harold Wolpoff and Tom Balderas among artists who have influenced him.
Exhibit open Monday-Friday from 8 am-4:30 pm and during evening public meetings.
