Stars Tennis Program

This program is for kids 11 and under and its goals are aimed at development, fun, and success. It uses low compression balls, smaller rackets, and shorter courts to get the kids playing right away. Sessions run Tuesdays through Thursdays and are split into different dates and age groups:

  • Little Stars (Ages 4 to 6)- 9-9:45am, $75/session
  • Rising Stars (Ages 7 to 8)- 9:45-10:45am, $89/session
  • Future Stars (Ages 9 to 11)- 10:45-11:45am, $89/session
This program uses the Holy Family Tennis Courts and the registration deadline is always the Sunday prior to the start of each session.
  • Session 1: June 11-20
  • Session 2: June 24-28, July 1(M-F,M)
  • Session 3: July 9-18
  • Session 4: July 30-August 8
  • Session 5: August 20-29

Into the Wild

Send your explorers to us! We will help them connect with nature through hands-on activities, adding yoga and movement into stories, crafts, and so much more. Sign up for one or all the exciting sessions. 

  • Ocean Adventures- June 26

Sessions are open to Ages 6-11 and run from 1-3:30pm. Each class costs $25 and takes place at the Victoria Lions Pavilion. Must have a minimum of 10 kids to run the session (max of 20).

Donuts with the Deputy for Kids

This is what your kids have been waiting for! Come join us on Wednesday, July 10th at 9:30am for free donuts, juice, and fun times with local deputies. This is a great chance for your kids to talk directly to officers they see around town. No need to register and no age restriction, just show up to the Victoria Rec Center at the specified time!

If your gamer can't get enough Fortnite, we have the perfect camp for them. We'll create art inspired by some of the most popular skins of the game, and we'll use all the best "mats" of the art world: clay, paint, and so much more. We've got Brite Bomber, Durr Burger, and P.A.N.D.A. Team Leader...and we'll even make a Liteshow that really flows in the dark! There will be no need for "heals" of any kind at this camp. This is a weapon-free zone, and there will be no depictions of violence in our art. Pack a nut-free snack and drink for our child.

Babysitting Safety Training

  • Thursday, June 27 
  • 8am-noon
  • Ages 11-18
  • $52 per person

Boys and girls ages 11+ learn skill training and information that is necessary in caring for infants and children in this American Health and Safety Institute accredited program. This program will teach the importance of responsibility, recognizing an emergency, emergency action steps, personal safety, fire and water safety, infant/child basic care, and also, responding to an unconscious victim, CPR, choking management and basic first aid. Upon successful completion, participants will earn a Babysitting Safety Training certification card. Please bring a pen, paper, snack and beverage.

Extreme Explorers Camp

If your child is enthusiastic about trying new outdoor activities, they will fit right in at the Extreme Explorers! Staff will accompany campers as they bike between the Victoria Recreation Center and the Victoria Library daily along city and regional trails. Between the two host locations, campers will explore the outdoors and scientific activities! Canoe on Stieger Lake followed by an archery field trip to Cabin Fever during this all-day adventure! Bikes will remain secured at the Victoria Recreation Center (indoors) overnight. Bikes and helmets are required and should be dropped off on Tuesday and picked up on Thursday. Offered in partnership with Carver County Parks, Libraries, and Historical Society.
