There is a small stretch of Hwy 13/Rolling Acres road where a wonderful bike path just... stops. It is long overdue to connect this small length of path from Fribourg Court to Hwy 7. My family, along with many others who live along this road have young children and would love SAFE access to the Minnetonka Regional State Trail, Carver Reserve and to cross Hwy 7 to the local park. Currently to get to these places, we have to walk on the Highway where cars/semi trucks usually are going 55 mph! I personally will get signatures from all the homes along this path to okay this project as I have talked with most of them already, and they think it is a great idea! Please contact me in how to appropriately move forward with this suggestion to the city council. Thank you.

I would like to propose continuing the bike and walking path on Bavaria to Highway 5, as it currently stops at the end of the Applewood community, and creating a safer way to cross Highway 5 with a bike bridge or tunnel underpass. With no bike or walking path, people are walking and riding on the shoulder, in the ditch or even in between cars to cross busy Highway 5 from the south.
We live off Bavaria and see a lot of bicycle and pedestrian traffic use this road to connect with the Lake Minnetonka LRT Regional Trail, which brings people to Carver Park Reserve, area lakes and beautiful downtown Victoria. Trail visibility off Highway 5 will also help to promote our area as a destination to visit.
Thank you for consideration and let me know if there is anything else I can do to assist in moving this idea forward.

Currently, developmental ice is from 6-8 Mon, Wed, Fri. In the past this has been a great opportunity for me and my son to skate. Recently, we haven't been able to use this opportunity due to his school hours.
Unfortunately, this opportunity to work on hockey with my son isn't available in the summer because developmental ice ends in May and starts again in Sept.
Since there is less demand for ice time during the summer months, I'd like to see developmental ice offered year round on Mon, Wed and Fri mornings as more people might be able to enjoy it on these non-school summer days.
I'd also like Victoria to consider implementing a "dead ice" policy similar to many other communities where if ice time is not being purchased, it is opened up to members of the community to play on and use for a small fee similar to developmental ice.
A valuable asset sitting empty just because it's summer or not purchased ice seems like a waste.
Thanks for your consideration.

I'd like to suggest you don't restrict access to homes next year, your poor planning resulted in having to contact the Sheriff's Department due to the inability to go to my home. I do assume that cost the City of Victoria some dollars, but the primary cost was that residents of Victoria were unable to access their homes. I absolutely do not understand what possessed you to place a tent and block off access to homes where people live and work. It's a level of idiocy I haven't seen in years let alone decades... even in construction sites it's a legal requirement to be able to access your homestead even through rough terrain. Plus, the "Volunteers" at the end of the evening were beyond inebriated. It was truly a disgrace for the City of Victoria. Had this not been my experience I probably would have attended the festival. However, I will be advising all, this is a festival to avoid at all costs. Poorly planned, poorly executed.....
