    June 21, 2021, 6:00 PM @ Lion’s Pavilion

The Carver County Sheriff’s Office announced that a Level 3 Predatory Offender, Mathhew Vanhecke, will be moving to the area of Woods Drive and Woods Circle in Victoria, MN on June 22, 2021. The Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a public information meeting on June 21, 2021 at 6 p.m. The Sheriff’s Office and the MN Department of Corrections will provide information regarding the offender, his crimes, and general information regarding the Predatory Offender Registry. Vanhecke engaged in separate incidents of sexual contact against two known female children. He used his position of authority and trust to exploit unmonitored contact. He used the victims’ youth and naiveté in an attempt to maintain control. He was also found in possession of child sexual abuse images. This notification is not intended to increase fear but rather raise awareness. Law enforcement believes that an informed public is a safer public.
