  1. Puppies & Pals Art Camp with Kidcreate Studio

    June 21, 2021, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Lion's Park

We love puppies (all all those other cute cuddly critters too!). In this camp, we'll create art we can display, play with, and even wear, all inspired by our favorite pets. We'll use air-dry clay, Model Magic, and so much more to create puppies, kitties, and some of our other favorite four-legged pals. These projects are so cute, they look just as cuddly as the real thing! Please pack a nut free snack and drink for your child.

  1. Community Notification Meeting: Level III Offender Moving to Victoria

    June 21, 2021, 6:00 PM @ Lion’s Pavilion

The Carver County Sheriff’s Office announced that a Level 3 Predatory Offender, Mathhew Vanhecke, will be moving to the area of Woods Drive and Woods Circle in Victoria, MN on June 22, 2021. The Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a public information meeting on June 21, 2021 at 6 p.m. The Sheriff’s Office and the MN Department of Corrections will provide information regarding the offender, his crimes, and general information regarding the Predatory Offender Registry. Vanhecke engaged in separate incidents of sexual contact against two known female children. He used his position of authority and trust to exploit unmonitored contact. He used the victims’ youth and naiveté in an attempt to maintain control. He was also found in possession of child sexual abuse images. This notification is not intended to increase fear but rather raise awareness. Law enforcement believes that an informed public is a safer public. Questions can be directed to the Sheriff’s Office at 952-361-1
