Deb was first elected to office in 2018 and served on the Victoria City Council for two years prior to being elected Mayor in 2020.
Professionally, Deb has worked in the Chamber and Association Management industry since May of 2000, serving as President/CEO for several local chambers of commerce. She held staff positions at the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce and the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce with specialties in advocacy, public policy, workforce, and community development. In 2020, Deb started her own association management and consulting business and has held a number of volunteer leadership positions throughout her career.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, games of all kinds, traveling, and spending time with family and friends She and her husband, Kerry, have lived in Victoria for more that 30 years and have four adult daughters and two sons-in-law.
