Public Works
The public works staff provides the following services to city residents and visitors.
  • Maintain public infrastructure including streets, sewers, and the water distribution system.
  • Provides clean drinking water.
  • Keep streets clear of snow and ice.
  • Maintain park grounds, trails, play-fields, ice rinks and picnic facilities.

Report a Concern
If you have a concern regarding the city's streets or utilities, contactus at 952-443-4210 or email Public Works to report any of the following concerns.
  • Street sign is down, damaged or missing
  • A pothole needs to be fixed
  • Water drainage problems
  • Questions about snow plowing procedures
  • Sidewalk is in need of repair
  • Trees in the boulevard need trimming
  • Visual obstructions in the right of way, which pose safety concerns for motorists entering an intersection
  • Questions about the maintenance of our parks system
Compost Site
The city compost site  at 1416 Stieger Lake Lane is open until November 4, 2018.

Residential collection, seasonal and/or on-demand, is offered by the following local vendors.

The following compost sites are owned and operated by private entities and are open to residents and businesses year-round.
